CandidShutters Store — Last updated: September 22, 2026

This page explains how CandidShutters Store ("we", "us") accesses and uses data when you choose to import photos or videos from your Google Drive or Google Photos account while uploading files for your order.

What We Access

When you click "Import from Google Drive" or "Import from Google Photos" on our upload page, Google will ask you to sign in and select the specific files you want to share with us, using Google's own file picker.

• We only ever receive the exact files you personally select through the picker.
• We do not browse, list, or gain access to any other files, folders, or albums in your Google Drive or Google Photos account.
• We do not access your contacts, email, calendar, or any other Google data.

How We Use It

The files you select are uploaded directly from your browser to our secure storage (Backblaze B2), tied to your specific order. They are used solely to fulfill your order with CandidShutters Store — for example, printing or producing the photo album or media product you purchased.

Data Storage & Security

• Uploaded files are stored in a private, access-controlled storage bucket.
• Only authorized CandidShutters Store staff can access uploaded order files.
• Files are never shared with, or sold to, any third party.

Data Retention & Deletion

Files are retained for as long as needed to process and fulfill your order. You may request deletion of your uploaded files at any time by contacting us using the details below.

Limited Use Disclosure

CandidShutters Store's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
